In The Ghetto

The Newtown Hotel has been closed down. (Hopefully nowt to do with the dispaly Nanna and I put on the other night)Bleeding heck! What hope is there for the ghetto now? Bank- TOTALLY DESTROYED. Oxford- turned into Zanzibar (getting better but still quite dykephobic if you're there on the wrong night). Impy- currently being renovated, retaining its original 'character' or some such blather apparently but I seriously have my doubts. And now, Sydney's longest surviving gaybar is closed down without a scrap of warning, a proper farewell, one last snog or pick up... where are we to go? The Townie? The Coopers? Where? Just spend every night at Slox? Arrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhh!
